This session, led by golf property valuation expert Larry Hirsh of Golf Property Analysts, will explore the issues relevant to the valuation of your club and how assessments work.  Hirsh, the author of the Appraisal Institute’s Golf Property Analysis and Valuation - A Modern Approach, is uniquely qualified and experienced to illustrate how clubs - even in what is regarded as a “bullish” club market - can analyze, review and possibly successfully contest their real estate tax assessments. The elements of a club’s real estate tax burden will be discussed and strategies explored on how to best manage a club’s real estate tax assessment.
