| NCA Championship Club Conference Hosting an elite golf championship is a major undertaking for a private club—with big rewards. For the first time, the National Club Association will convene leaders from clubs that host and hope to host golf championships for a day of collaboration, networking and information sharing. Limited to the first 100 eligible registrants, NCA’s inaugural Championship Club Conference, Nov. 13, 2023, at Army Navy Country Club, Arlington Va., will provide a dedicated forum for club leadership to meet, learn, share best practices and discuss the challenges and rewards of hosting championships and qualifiers for the major tours and golf organizations in the United States. Conversation will include four sessions led by top championship veterans:
 ·       Preparing Your Club to Host a Championship – Colin Burns, Apogee Golf and former GM of Winged Foot Golf Club ·       Player Experience – Robbie Zalzneck, Formerly USGA Sr. Director of Player Services ·       Patron Experience and Service Excellence – Kevin Bozada, Augusta National Golf Club ·       Community Engagement in Support of Event – Jeffrey Kreafle, Congressional Country Club The conference will begin at 10:00am and conclude at 4:00pm. Lunch will be provided and a networking cocktail reception will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Cost to attend is $350 for the first registration and $250 for each additional registration. Army Navy Country Club is conveniently located less than six miles from Reagan National Airport.   |
