An NCA-HFTP Joint Project on Comprehensive Practices in Club Cybersecurity

Your club has gone through the extensive and expensive process to set up safeguards to protect your organization’s network and data; but the work does not stop there. Cyberthreats are a continual and evolving concern, and steps to deflect an attack need to be intrinsic to your operations. This session will review current best practices that will help your club maintain a robust cybersecurity program. Practices include a review of system setup, staff training, malware protection (e.g., ransomware) and business email compromise threats, considerations when buying cyber liability insurance, and more. While some of these practices may be familiar, attend this session to review a full spectrum of techniques to maintain a healthy defense against cyberthreats.
